Renowned Greek fashion designer Loukia presented last night her Fall/Winter 2012-3 collection entitled Urban Poetry at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens. Loukia drew inspiration by Greek and foreign poets when she was designing her new collection.

Luxurious materials marry with cheap ones. Pieces of old needlework were mounted onto perfectly made suits and coats while torn scarves added a bohemian touch in many of the dresses where the hems of them were often unfinished, creating a sense of incompleteness and meteor. She used silk muslins, taffeta precious braids and of cource lace. A mature collection by a designer who wanted this collection to be "an antidote to the misery of our days".
