This is a tool for gather up the nature voice. The Japanese primitive people recognized the wind as voice of heaven. The people worshiped the wind as sacrament and listened carefully the voice. The people thought that the wind has personality. “The Voice of Winds” is formed by a number of pipes in the shape of a tree branch. Dispersed white tree branches look like bones of animate beings.

The material is earthenware. When the winds run through in the pipes, the voice of nature break through. The voice is distinct from place. This tool has not concrete practical utility for daily life. But we can wake up to the daily microscopic things around us if we use this. It is important to become conscious of the unconscious. This tool is designed to communicate with nature and to get back the primitive conception of nature. This work was exhibited as in the form of installation with a sound at the Post Design Gallery(MEMPHIS) in Milan. The sound for the installation was picked and made by the designer himself.

This work is a window design for a fashion shop collaborated with a design company, TYMOTE. "We were asked by the shop to design a window on the theme of “Letter”.

This design composed by 1500 pieces of envelope and 200 pieces of postcard.

"By using the transmissive quality of envelope, we created soft curtain it’s like “Shoji”, Japanese paper screen in the shop. From outside of view, huge envelopes look like flying in the window. From inside of view, huge envelopes create patters of light and shadow. This is an enjoyable window design from outside and inside". 

Travel on the earth/ space design, 2012, Design/Photo: Kazunori Matsumura, Tokyo big site.

This work is a display design for an event of “interior life style Tokyo”. The theme of this display is “travel”. Some items with ties to travel were put on display. The object made of layered rafter expresses ground form. This object performs as display furniture and also as tridimensional graphic that evokes “Travel on the earth” for people.
