DONNA WILSON'S 2012 CREATURES

Donna Wilson graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in 2003 and her first commercial move was a sold-out series of creatures made of lamswool. Nine years later,the Donna Wilson brand sells in 25 countries offering a range of unique home products, among which her creatures.

We asked Donna if her creatures are part of her own "reality" in life and she said "The creatures are what I started with so they have become loyal friends now which is really nice!I still love designing them and seeing how they develop and naming them, as each one really has its own personality and identity! I have a few of my favorites dotted around my own home.I love Cyril Squirrel as she has become an icon!"

As for whether she would consider designing a clothing line in the future, Donna told us "It's something I have thought about for a while. The hats and scarves have been a success so it would be great to take them a stage further and develop a complete look. I would also like to design a small collection of knitted jumpers but we have been so busy with the interiors range I need to make sure I have time to do it well!"
