DONATIONS TO THE GREEK NATIONAL ART GALLERY EXHIBITED IN SIFNOS

In collaboration with the city of Sifnos, the National Art Gallery of Athens opens in a few days an exhibition entitled "Donations to the National Art Gallery 1959-2007 - Selection". This exhibition runs in parallel and is a miniature of the large central exhibition at the National Art Gallery in Athens.

The selection of works exhibited mainly consists of donations by artists and important legacies by Christos Kapralos, whose sculpture is also exhibited, Nana Isaias, Aggela Nicolaou and Savvas Haratsides. Among the artists of the exhibition are Giorgos Gounaropoulos(1890-1977), Nikos Hadjikiriakos-Gikas (1906-1994), Dimitris Mytaras(1934), Alekos Fasianos(1935) and many many more.
