One of the most significant Greek artists of the post-war period was Vlassis Caniaris whose iconography has always concerned itself with socio-political themes. In the current climate of the intense socio-economic upheaval worldwide, Kaniaris' artistic idiom is more timely and imperative than ever. Kalfayan Galleries of Athens will open on May 28th an exhibition showcasing his 1980 installation "Cocktail"  bringing together the artist's aim to make us think, to become the basis for intense social dialogue, to raise questions and not offer easy solutions and answers. An exhibition definitely not to be missed.
