Well...while preparing suitcases and travel bags, I spent some time dreaming of a place in paradise, a place to restore balance, to slow down and start appreciating the simplicity of best things in life: the company of dear friends, the beauty of nature, the hedonistic taste of a dinner made with care and imagination...Marco Giunta and Viviana Haddad -a young married couple of architects who formed in Milan- decided to live in Casa Talìa, located in Modica, in the South-East part of Sicily, a territory in which scenarios, places and architectural wonders have been kept untouched through the years. Modica is known as the town of the hundred churches and since 2003 it is under the heritage of UNESCO. Let their story inspire us all by visiting the fascinating place they restored, choosing the slowliving.
